We've just had some feeddback from one of our most unusual weddings this year - a Smurf wedding.
Remember, those little blue men who were so big in the 70s and 80s? Well, Kirstie and James were huge
fans and have remained so to this day, so it seemed obvious that there wedding should have a Smurf
theme!
Anyhow, it is one of the best films we have made so far. It's really lively and fun while being romantic
and stylish at the same time.
Here's what Kirstie and James had to say about it:
"Since we started watching it, we can't stop! We've seen it 5 times already and absolutely adore it! We've also shown it to loads of family and friends and they can't believe how amazing it is!
"You really have captured the fun and emotion of the day - we haven't stopped crying all weekend!! (no surprise there then, I hear you say!!) It seems even better and more magical than what we remember! We will definitely be recommending you to everybody we know and already have done. You are both so clever and have brought back so many wonderful memories and shown us loads of things that we didn't even know had happened. Thank you so much!!"

WOW! WHAT A WEEKEND!
It's been a fantastic weekend for us. Two lovely weddings back to back. Both were full of fun and laughter and it was a genuine pleasure to be part of the big days.
The first was Louise and Stuart's in the very impressive setting of Waltham Abbey church followed by a lovely reception at Friern Manor. They were such a lovely couple with really nice guests and friends.
Next day saw us at Layer Marney Tower for the marriage of Sarah and Dan. Wow! What a wedding! The guests were even up dancing and singing at the tables BEFORE the speeches, thanks to the efforts of Darryl King - their singer.
And the evening saw more merriment with one of the most entertaining DJs we have worked with. Crazy Martin, I think he is known as. He had holdalls full of wigs, masks and outfits to fit every song he played - and he really made the party go with a bang!
This morning, I have come in to the studio to find the following feedback from our latest Happy Couples.
Lydia and Tim wrote: "We were delighted with the wedding film, you managed to capture all our guests and it made me feel like we were back there on the day. We nearly didn't have a video due to the extra cost but we are so glad we did! Thank you both so much for everything you did on the day, you were fantastic." Lydia & Tim xx
Sean and Terri-Ann dropped a line to say: "We watched the DVD when I returned last night and it is fantastic, we are really pleased with the final version. It brought back all of the memories of our special day, and captures every moment brilliantly! Thank you to you both, for all of your efforts on the day and your editing skills to produce the final DVD.
Terri, has said that she will call you next week with our feedback and to order copies for our family. Once again cannot thank you enough for your work and your professionalism throughout, many thanks."
Oh well, better get on with the editing....

LOVELY FEEDBACK
Below is some feedback from a very happy couple:
“Sally and Steve did an absolutely fantastic job with our wedding footage. Sally spent time really understanding our requirements, and both she and Steve were extremely professional on the day, working well with our photographers to capture all aspects and atmosphere, without being obtrusive. The final film is absolutely beautiful, especially in the way they have captured little details that I am sure we would otherwise have forgotten. It really makes a lasting memory for us, that we will watch for years to come. We would recommend them without hesitation.”

CLICK HERE IF YOU CAN'T MAKE YOUR MIND UP

It's always difficult when you are planning a wedding and trying to stick to a budget because
there are so many demands.
Quite often we videographers are last on the list when it comes to services couples decide
to hire in - but after the event we are top of the list.
Time and time again we hear the same thing: "Our DVD is the best thing we spent money
on for our wedding."
The simple truth is that your wedding film is the only real tangible reminder of what is
hopefully going to be the best day of your life.
You will probably spend thousands of pounds on grand venues and all the little accessories
and it is only really a well-shot and well-edited film that will capture the essence of your
day.
Ok, you could your Uncle Harry to film your day but I'll bet you a pound to a penny that
the results will not be that great.
Have a look at the You Tube link above to hear one couple's regrets. I know it's a bit American
but it certainly captures the sentiments felt by many couples who decide to save
a few pounds on the video.
I would be interested to hear what you think!
